Low Fat Lettuce Chicken Wraps/ Chicken Raita Lettuce Wraps/ Indian Style Lettuce Chicken Wraps/ Easy Lettuce Chicken Wraps




Curd is one of my favorite things to eat. I pair it with almost all the foods and while people end their meal with curd rice, I begin with it 😄. I like the combination of rice+dal+ curd, curd with lemon rice, curd with sambar, mutton curry, chicken curry, and so on. So, this time I added cooked chicken to raita and it worked really well. Curd acts as a dressing and contributes to the creamy component and leads us to a healthy low-fat dressing compared to cheese sauce or mayo. This filling can be used in pita bread, sandwiches, chapati rolls, wraps or just as salads on it's own. The options are endless. Be free to add seasonings according to your taste. So, let's get started. 

To Make This Recipe, You'll Need:

Iceberg lettuce leaves  - As required

Chicken                           -  200g

Red chilli powder           - 1 ½  teaspoon

Coriander powder          -  1 ½ teaspoon

Turmeric                           - 1/4th teaspoon

Garam masala powder   - ½ teaspoon

Lemon juice                        - 1 teaspoon

Choice of chopped vegetables – As required

Curd                                      - 200g

Cumin powder                    - 3/4th teaspoon

Salt                                      - To taste

Pepper                                - To taste






Method : 

1. To the washed and cleaned chicken pieces add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Marinate for 10 mins and cook in your preferred procedures. (Stir fry/ bake/ fry/air fry)
2. Now, to the curd add pepper powder, cumin powder, and salt, whisk well and keep it aside. 
3. Now, to a clean bowl add your choice of chopped vegetables, add cooked chicken and the low-fat dressing made with curd. Mix well and arrange it on the washed and cleaned lettuce leaves. 
4. Serve immediately.. You eat like a taco.
