For me, this is a unique style of making a pulao! You will know why as you proceed to read this post.
This pulao can be made plain as well, it tastes absolutely amazing. For a vegetarian version substitute eggs with vegetables or paneer, and vegans can replace it with soya chaap 😋.
To Make This Recipe, You'll Need :
For Pulao:
Rice - 2 cups
Water - 4 cups
Onions - 2 (medium-sized, roughly chopped)
Garlic pods - 10 - 15
Cumin seeds/ Jeera - 1/2 teaspoons
Red chili powder - 3 Tablespoons (or) to taste
Salt - 2 1/2 teaspoons (or) to taste
Oil - 6 Tablespoons
For Eggs:
Boiled eggs - 3 (halved)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (or) to taste
Salt - To taste
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Coriander - few sprigs
Method :
Rice :
1. Wash the rice grains thoroughly and soak them in the water.
2. In a blender jar add all the rest of the ingredients and grind it to a smooth paste.
3. Add this paste to the soaked rice grains and cook until done.
