Green gram Sprouts Salad/ Mung Sprouts Salad/ Healthy Green gram Sprouts Salad/ Chatpati Mung Salad

Mung/Moong beans have huge benefits to offer. They are a high source of nutrients including manganese, potassium, copper, zinc, and various B vitamins. This salad is filling and has a good amount of protein I can say! One could add grated carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, and capsicum to this salad and the spices can be according to your taste. Include this salad regularly in your meals to have a balanced diet. Frankly, am not a fan of sprouts, but somehow this way, I enjoy it and I remind myself this time to provide, what my body needs, not me!

Indo - Hawaiian Salad

Salads are beautiful and colorful. Isn't it? On the other hand, they are healthy too. It is perfect to have it for dinner or lunch and surely its refreshing. Salads are simple. They don't contain chili powders, garam masalas, etc which we use in our daily cooking very often. So, salads are purely delish with few ingredients. Feel free to add or lessen salt, pepper, or Mayo. After all, that is what Home Cooking is all about! You can just trick the recipes by adding according to your taste or adjusting the taste with other ingredients! You can also add more mayo for creamy salad. So let's get busy making some Super Salad!!

To Make This Recipe You Will Need :

Lobiya  Beans  (Cut)
1 Cup
Pineapple tidbits with Syrup
2 to 3 Tablespoons of Titbits + 2 Tablespoons of Syrup
Sweet Corn Kernels
1 Cup
Tofu ( Cubed)
½  Cup
Carrot (Chopped)
1 Medium Sized
Mayonnaise ( I used homemade, eggless)
½ Cup ( You can increase the quantity)
Cheddar  Cheese (Grated)
½ Cup (approx) ( Optional)
Capsicum (chopped)
1 (small size)
Salt
To Taste
Sugar
2 Teaspoons
Pepper Powder
To Taste

Method :

Begin by boiling the prepared Veggies.
Next, fry the Tofu in the hot oil until they turn slightly brown

After frying the tofu, whisk the mayo with sugar( until dissolved).

To the Whipped Mayo, add all the remaining ingredients: Boiled and drained veggies, Pineapple tidbits including the syrup (Pineapple tidbits are pineapple chunks in the pineapple juice or syrup sold in firmly packed cans. I used  Del Monte brand), cheese. Mix well and further add salt and pepper.

After mixing the Salad, check for taste and place it in the refrigerator until chilled.

 It's Done!!
